This video post is part of 20SB’s Vlog Day and the topic is “Introduce Yourself”…anyone can participate! Details are here.
A whole bunch of bloggers are posting videos today introducing themselves, I thought it would be fun to join the party, so here you have it:
*I say V-Log, you say Vlog, we can still be friends.
PS - I have a site set up at www.connectingtheblackdots.com however, I couldn't figure out how to embed this video in Wordpress. Wordpress confuses my poor brain.
What! This is so awesome that you are in Costa Rica. I was just looking into going there but I think I have desided on making my way to Chile. I have always wanted to teach English abroad I should look into it again.
ReplyDeleteI would love to send you a postcard from Montreal if you send me your address. I am totally ligit you can check out my blog as I LOVE to send out Mail!!!
Hope you enjoy the rest of your time in Costa Rica as I wish I could trade spots with you right now.
Much Love,
Crystal {at} thehouseofhearts.com
I have absolutely no clue how you get any work done between the hammock and the view but that sounds like an amazing experience.
ReplyDeleteP.S. To embed the video into WordPress you need to use the old code from YouTube NOT the one that has iframe in it. For some reason WordPress hasn't convered and I haven't found a plug-in that will do it. Just thought I would let you know (because I am a nerd).
ReplyDeletewow :) costa rica looks and sounds amazing
ReplyDeleteA lovely view of the river and a hammock at work? Sounds like a dream :)

ReplyDeleteand you should email your address so I can send you a DC postcard! maxie.maggio(at)gmail(dot)com
Hi, thanks for the comment! Costa Rica, that's so exciting :)
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question (more specifically than in my vlog, that is), moving around a lot while growing up actually sucks a lot when you're a kid. We lived in North Carolina from the time I was 8 until I was 15, when we moved to Ohio and it was HORRIBLE, having to uproot your whole life halfway through high school. Especially when your new school doesn't like outsiders.
But as an adult, I'm so glad for the experience. I went to college four hours away from home and I adjusted really easily, because of my past :) And I'm really good at meeting new people now, haha!
Sorry for the rant, and looking forward to following your blog!
Emma
Wow you're office is so much more impressive than mine. I think I need to talk to my boss about hanging a hammock!
ReplyDeleteI love it!
ReplyDeletePostcard friends!
I'd be happy to send you a postcard from random places, if you'd like :)
